Vote Yes On Issue 2 to Support Library Operations and Programs That Impact Thousands in Our Community
- The Public Library of Youngstown & Mahoning County serves over 100,000 people a year with over 650,000 library visits.
- Over 4,000 people participated in our Summer Discovery Series promoting literacy for all ages
- Operating funds generated by the Library Levy support the purchase of books, staff salaries, building repairs, public access computers, and programs that support literacy and workforce development.
- The library partners with the United Way and school districts across the county to support students and teachers.

- Issue 2 is a renewal of a levy that has been in place for decades.
- The Public Library of Youngstown & Mahoning County prioritizes good stewardship of public funds. The library is able to operate 14 locations across Mahoning County and provide programming for adult and child literacy, workforce development and career planning, and small business start-up support, all without carrying any debt.
- Building maintenance and repairs are carried out with NO additional costs to taxpayers!
